We tend to save some kegs every now and then for events and special occasions. Sometimes a few get lost in the shuffle. Sometimes they don't. Last night we tapped a very rare but unbelievable treat, Troubadour Obscura, an 8.5% mild stout. My fellow Northsider's, this is what great Belgium draft should taste like. A thick creamy head on top and luscious malt liquid underneath. Most Belgium draft is good, some are great, but this will blow your doors off. Let us not kid each other, this stuff ain't cheap, but it is worth every penny. So stop on in and get a taste of some really great beer, you will not be sorry. All for one and one for all!
JUST THE FACTS
- Dan Bengel
- Hello there, maybe you found this site by luck, or maybe I told you about it. Whatever the case may be, welcome! This is not some fancy blog, with me posting on it all day, but one that has "just the facts". You know, the important things in life. The tap list, events coming up, and specials. Yeah, I'm even going to comment on some of the stuff I will be doing here. So grab a beer and relax, the show is getting ready to start.

Hey Dan. Thanks for stopping in. I meant to come out and sit and buy you a beer and say bad things about Jack, but couldn't make it happen... sorry. Especially the Jack part. Rain check?
Ric
Rain check would be no problem with me, but I have to be good to Uncle Jack this week, he said he is driving me out to Troegs for the 10th Anniversary party. (Oh Mother of Malt and Father of Hops, please watch over me.) Oh and by the way, my pumkin guess is 311 pounds.
