On May 24 in lovely Zieglerville, the smack daddy of "beeratologly" Lew Bryson, comes to the Northside for another look at seasonal session beers. Baby, we are on the patio, with bar-b-que, clams, fresh salsa and oh yeah, beer. What kind of beer? How `bout Allagash White, Berliner Weiss, a little Oude Beersel Framboise? Getting thirsty yet? Well pay attention kids, because here comes a special offer. If you print out this blog and take it to the Northside between April 24 and April 29, sign it, and give it to the lovely Ms. Kim or the lovely Ms. Sara, you can get two tickets to the show for $60 instead of $80 come May1. Yes boys and girls, that is a whopping $20 to buy yourself a big ole bottle of beer with later on. The show starts at 6:30 and there will be three more beers and more food to fill your empty belly's. So, what are you waiting for?

CINCO DE MAYO
This year to open up our lovely patio area for Cinco De Mayo, we will be having a new game added, called "Build a Snowman". What the *&$#@*&^ is going on out there? Me thinks someone needs to go to Puxatawny and make some groundhog stew. Early spring? April showers bring the actual Mayflower down Perkiomen Creek. But, on a brighter note, we've got all kind of news to tell you. Including something you may have heard or read about, a three day festival here. Some news in the cooking department for here and at the pizzeria. So stay dry on the outside and grab a brew for the inside. We're getting ready for some fun!

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
We here at The Northside believe in R and D, and B and B, and R,E,S,P,E,C,T. Therefore this month we will be spanning the globe looking for new fun things for you to drink. I'll be starting things off by going to the "Evil Empire", Dogfish Head later today. It's a dangerous job, but one I have accomplish before. Next is the Grey Lodge Friday the Firkinteenth, on what else, Friday the 13th. Hopefully my scratch off lotto card will come through, so I can make this event. On the 28th, Mr. O goes to the World Beer Event in North Carolina. That same weekend, I will be heading north to Tap NY. Its a lot of hard work, but these are the sacrifice's we are willing to make for our customers. So everybody have a great Easter and we will see you at The Northside!

EVENT OUTLOOK
Just a few notes about some upcoming events here at The Northside. Victory Brewing Company celebrates Victory over Prohibition on April 6 with their Throwback Lager on tap, with t-shirts and glassware give aways during the night. On Easter Sunday, we will be open early from 1 to 8p.m. for your dining pleasure. And last but not least, The Session Summer Of Love Fest on May 24,25,26. Featuring Lew Bryson Thursday night out on the patio with a look at the seasonal beers of summer and some mighty fine bar-b-que. Price and time coming real soon! On Saturday afternoon the 26, Legacy brewer Scott Baver challenges our own John Ortino to a "smoke off" out back. The winner gets??? More details about this and other fine events after we get done eating all those bunny heads.
